Description

Flying Accident Cards (AM Form 1180) were designed to record details of aircraft accidents so that the causes could be analysed and the resulting data used in accident prevention.

Source / Availability:

The surviving cards (which date from about 1930) are held by the Ministry of Defence Air Historical Branch.

However, the RAF Museum holds copies on microfilm and it provides a copying service.
