The RFC Casualty Report shows “Aircraft left aerodrome at 4.40 and has not returned; fate of personnel unknown”

AS Hanna and RA Burnard were reported missing and struck off strength of the squadron on 31st March 1918

Subsequent information confirmed that AS Hanna and RH Burnard were prisoners of war  (with RH Burnard wounded left foot)
